KATHMANDU, Oct 7: CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal will not get a ticket from the party for the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) elections.
Although the Achham District Committee of the UML had unanimously recommended Rawal's name, the party did not give him a ticket for the upcoming election to the HoR from Achham-1. Jhapat Bohra is now going to contest the HoR elections from UML from Achham-1.
Similarly, Yagya Bogati got a ticket for the HoRelections and Bhim Bista and Shiva Upadhyaya got tickets for provincial assembly election from Achham-2.
Rawal, who was in the Madhav Kumar Nepal and Pushpa Kamal Dahal group when the unification of the CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center) into CPN was canceled by the Supreme Court, remained in the UML after the CPN split.
