KATHMANDU, Nov 20: Bal Srijanalaya School of Kathmandu and Everest Secondary Academy of Sarlahi are set to fight for the boys’ title in the ongoing Coca-Cola Cup Inter-School National Football Tournament.
In the semifinal matches played at ANFA Complex at Satdobato in Lalitpur, Bal Srijanalaya defeated Gajurmukhi English Boarding School (Kathmandu) 1-0 whereas Everest recorded 4-2 win over Sunsari’s Mahendra Memorial English Boarding School.
Nimal Moktan netted the only goal of the match to send Bal Srijanalaya into the final.
In the other last-four clash, Madan Shyangtan netted a hat-trick for Everest while Ritik Khadka added another goal for the winning side. Likewise, Nikesh Tamang and Bharat Chaudhary scored one goal each for Mahendra Memorial.
The final match will be played on Friday at ANFA Complex.
In the girls’ category matches held on the same day, Nepalaya English Secondary School (Kathmandu) and Shree Seti Devi Sharda Secondary School (Sindhupalchowk) played 1-1 draw while Shree Shankar Saraswoti Annapurna (Kailali) defeated Bright Future Star Secondary School (Kathmandu) 7-0. In another match of the same category, Bhumre School (Syanja) recorded 4-1 win over Aadarsh Higher Secondary (Sunsari).
