KATHMANDU, Nov 19: The National Disaster Management Network of Nepal (DiMaNN) on Thursday urged the government to bail the country out of the present crisis.

Issuing a statement today, DIMaNN has appealed the government to improve the ties with the neighboring country India through diplomatic measures and hold decisive talks with the agitating Madhes-based parties and address their genuine demands.

Drawing attention of the government toward the stern crisis the county is facing currently, the DiMaNN stated that the unofficial blockade imposed by India has resulted in the shortage of petroleum products, food stuffs and construction materials in the country.

The DiMaNN has also appealed the people in general to exercise restraint, cooperation, maintain national unity and refrain from hoarding foods-stuffs unnecessarily, in the statement.
