BIRATNAGAR, March 27: Coordinator of Naya Shakti Nepal, Baburam Bhattarai on Sunday said that the solution to the existing dispute over delineation of provinces should be sought from within the periphery of the constitution.

Speaking to journalists upon his arrival at Biratnagar airport, Bhattarai said that provinces can be redrawn, but their number should not be changed.“It will be better to settle the boundary dispute on the bases of identity and capacity,” he said.

On a separate note, the former prime minister remarked that the country will be economically prosperous only if all political parties take initiatives for progressive development.

He was of the opinion that the parties should not be involved in bringing down the current government and forming a new one.

Bhattarai termed the China visit by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli as positive, adding that Nepal can benefit from trilateral partnership among Nepal, India and China.
