JHAPA, March 19: Rup Narayan Neupane, a young entrepreneur and social activist from Damak, was found dead on Sunday morning in Kunjibari of Gauriganj Rural Municipality-1.
The 50-year-old had gone to Kunjibari, about 30 kilometers south of Damak, to check his farmland the previous day. Locals discovered his body and informed the police.

The District Police Office said the body was taken for legal formalities and handed over to the family for further examination. Neupane was active in business, cooperative work and social activities in Damak for many years.
He was the founding president of Kamalnagar JC, ran an electronics business in Damak and lived with his wife and two sons in Devkota Chowk of Damak Municipality-6.
