Musalman and Kandel withdraw their candidacies from veep poll

KATHMANDU, Oct 30: Of the total four candidates running for the election fray for the post of Vice-President, two candidates have withdrawn their candidacies.

Two Vice-Presidential candidates - Independent parliamentarian Attahar Kamal Musalman and Dayaram Kandel of Nepal Pariwal Dal - have withdrawn their candidacies.


With the withdrawal of their candidacies, only Nanda Bahadur Pun fielded by the ruling alliance and Amiya Kumar Yadav representing the main opposition party Nepali Congress will be locking horns in the election slated for Saturday.
