Handicraft fair to conclude Monday
More than 60,000 people visited Handicraft Trade Fair on Sunday, a press statement said. The five day long fair is concluding on Monday. The fair which has been organized by Federation of Handicraft Association features products from districts like Ramechhap, Kaski, Myagdi, Kathmandu, Palpa among others.
The handicrafts items made of leather, silver, wool remained the main attraction. The event also feature participants from Pakistan, Indian and Bangladesh. [break]
Fishtail Air awarded
KATHMANDU: Inland Revenue Department has awarded Fishtail Air -- a helicopter operator -- with a certificate of appreciation for its remarkable contribution to the national exchequer. Captain Bikash JB Rana, chairman of Fishtail Air, received the certificate on behalf of the company, a statement said Sunday.
“Fishtail Air has been providing heli rescue service to the injured and critically ill alpinists and the locals since its inception,” the statement added.
