Bhadrapur plane incident: All passengers safe

KATHMANDU, Jan 3: All passengers onboard a plane that skidded off the runway at Bhadrapur Airport in Jhapa are safe.

The Buddha Air aircraft met with an incident while landing on Friday night. According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the ATR 72 aircraft with call sign 9N-MF, which had flown from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur, slipped off the runway during landing.


CAAN Spokesperson Gyanendra Bhul said that all 51 passengers onboard the aircraft are safe.
