RAUTAHAT, Feb 1: Police have arrested Ram Kishore Mishra, 54, on the charge of raping a four-year-old girl of Gaur Municipality of Rautahat. The accused, a local of Gaur Municipality – 1, allegedly lured the girl, who lived in his neighborhood, by giving her Rs 10 for chocolates and then raped her.
"It was around 8 pm on Thursday when he called her near his house. He gave her Rs 10 for chocolates and then took her to a field and raped her," said police.
The girl then returned home bleeding. She cried while urinating due to the excruciating pain. According to her neighbor Raju Paswan, she revealed the matter when a relative started to interrogate her.

"As soon as she reported the matter, the family members held got hold of the accused and handed him over to police," he said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Nabin Karki, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Rautahat, said that the minor has undergone due health check-up and there are strong evidences against the accused.
"Her health check-up has been done at the district hospital. We are investigating the matter seriously," DSP Karki said.
The girl's health is normal, according to Dr Krishna Sah of the district hospital.
It has been learnt that the girl's original home is Bairganiya of Sitamadhi district of Bihar India.
She had come to Rautahat with her mother for a short stay. On the fateful day, her mother was out to a hospital for a minor family planning surgery.
Reportedly, Mishra took her about 50 meters away from her home and raped her. Police said that they have recovered a note of Rs 10 and other stuffs from the spot.
