44 new COVID-19 cases in Kathmandu Valley

KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Kathmandu Valley has reported 44 new cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infection in the last 24 hours.

KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Kathmandu Valley has reported 44 new cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infection in the last 24 hours.


According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 36 people were diagnosed with this viral infection in Kathmandu district alone. Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded four cases each.

The figure is the lowest single day spike in the valley since last Monday. A total of 51 new cases were diagnosed on August 4, while the tally stood 62 each on August 5. 


Kathmandu Valley witnessed the highest single day rise on Friday as 106 more people tested positive on that day.
