KATHMANDU, June 23: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane has instructed concerned authorities to discontinue the collection of delegate fees for participants attending the party’s first national general convention.
Considering the extension of the convention period, Lamichhane clarified that the previously set mandatory fee of Rs 5,000 per delegate will no longer be required.

The party has also stated that delegates who have already paid the fee and are facing financial difficulty may apply to receive a refund after completing the necessary procedures.
RSP has urged participants to contact designated officials if they face any difficulties regarding accommodation, meals, or other arrangements during their stay in Chitwan.
The party said necessary facilitation measures have been put in place to ensure delegates do not face inconvenience.
The first national convention of RSP is currently underway in Chitwan, where representatives from across the country are engaged in discussions on leadership selection, organizational strengthening, and the party’s future political direction. As the convention has been extended, issues related to accommodation and logistics have also drawn attention.
