KATHMANDU, Aug 7: Three districts in the Kathmandu Valley have reported 106 new cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday.
According to Dr Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 88 people from Kathmandu district were diagnosed with COVID-19 while the number of new cases in Lalitpur and Bhaktapur stood ten and four respectively in the past 24 hours.
Dr Gautam also shared that four more people were diagnosed with this viral infection at a lab in the Kathmandu Valley. However, he did not mention the name of the district.
