42-year-old woman dies of COVID-19 in Palpa, death toll hits four

PALPA, Sept 19: A  COVID-19 patient undergoing treatment at Lumbini Medical College in Palpa died on Friday night.

PALPA, Sept 19: A  COVID-19 patient undergoing treatment at Lumbini Medical College in Palpa died on Friday night.


The deceased has been identified as a 42-year-old woman from Tansen Municipality-14, according to information officer at Palpa Health Office, Om Prakash Panthi.

She was admitted to the hospital on Sept 15.


Four people have died from COVID-19 in Palpa district.


As of Friday, 685 people in Palpa have contracted the virus.
