TRIVENI (RUKUM WEST), Nov 16: Nine persons were injured in a bus accident that took place in Ritha, Aatbiskot Municipality-11, Rukum West on Saturday. The bus was en route to Radi from Kathmandu.
The ill-fated bus with the registration number Province 3-01-005 Kha 9966 met with the accident near Ritha on the Bheri Corridor today. The injured include 31-year-old driver Khadkabahadur Tamang from Khagri Rural Municipality-1, Dhading, 28-year-old Bhimbahadur Bhulan from the same municipality, 31-year-old Prakash Gautam from Aatbiskot-9, Rukum West and 26-year-old Prakash Magarathi from Bimeshwar Municipality-7, Dolakha, according to Rukum West District Police Office's Information Officer, Police Inspector Rishi Pathak.

Other injured individuals include 17-year-old Ganesh Rasaili from Aatbiskot-11, 45-year-old Bhimkumari Chandara from Nalagad Municipality-8, Jajarkot, her 10-year-old son Manbahadur Chandara, 28-year-old Akash Kafne from Kheruwa Municipality-5, Morang, and 25-year-old Kisan Kumari Bik from Nalagad-12, Jajarkot.
Inspector Pathak said that all the injured are currently receiving treatment at the Nagar Hospital in Radi. The bus had lost control and fell 50 meters off the road.
