RAJBIRAJ, Aug 17: A fire on Wednesday gutted property worth millions of rupees at Mainakaderi VDC – 9 in Saptari district.
The fire which broke out from Dukhi Khanga's barn engulfed nearby sheds and destroyed two houses inflicting a damage worth around Rs 500,000, Area Police Office, Kanchanpur said.
The fire spread from a traditional mosquito repellent. The fire destroyed food commodities, clothing, crockery and cash and kinds, Inspector Gaurav Mahat said. The fire was brought under control with help of locals and police. RSS
