27 dead bodies brought in widebody aircraft from Malaysia

KATHMANDU, July 24: A widebody A330 aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) brought 24 dead bodies and three remains of Nepali citizens from Malaysia on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, July 24: A widebody A330 aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) brought 24 dead bodies and three remains of Nepali citizens from Malaysia on Saturday.


The dead bodies were brought to Nepal under the coordination of the Foreign Employment Promotion Board and were handed over to their relatives today.

Also, the NAC is preparing for a flight to Beijing, China, on Sunday. The flight will bring the last shipment of Vero Cell vaccines from China, purchased by the Nepal government. 


The NAC has already completed three flights to China to bring the COVID-19 vaccines to Nepal. Earlier, an NAC aircraft had brought 800,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines to Nepal on July 9, followed by another flight on July 16.
