Party to launch Jana Yatra from April 5

At a central committee meeting held on Monday, the party appointed former ministers Sumana Shrestha, Shishir Khanal, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha and Dr Toshima Karki as members of the Task Force, according to Acting Spokesperson Manish Jha.
"The party has established the 'Mission Blueprint' Task Force under the leadership of Vice Chairmen Dol Prasad Aryal and Dr Swarnim Wagle, with former ministers Sumana Shrestha, Shishir Khanal, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, and Dr. Toshima Karki as members, to draft a nation-building blueprint" Jha stated.
Additionally, the meeting assigned Joint General Secretaries Sumana Shrestha and Bipin Kumar Acharya to implement the Leadership Academy and the Candidate Club.
Meanwhile, the RSP will launch its Jana Yatra (People's Journey) from Chitwan on April 5. As announced at the party's first national council meeting, the Jana Yatra aims to gather public concerns, Jha said. The party has tasked deputy parliamentary party leader Biraj Bhakta Shrestha with coordinating the Jana Yatra program and its procedures.
Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane instructed the completion of the party's first general convention within May. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) will hold the convention on May 8, 9 and 10. "In preparation for the convention, we have directed central committee members and provincial committees to submit their written opinions and action plans to the party within the next three days," he stated.
