KATHMANDU, April 1: President Ram Chandra Paudel has assigned Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh the responsibilities of the Prime Minister during Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s absence. Oli has traveled to Thailand for an official visit and to attend the 6th BIMSTEC Summit.

According to the President's Office, the assignment of responsibilities to Deputy Prime Minister Singh follows Prime Minister Oli's recommendation in accordance with Nepal's Constitution.
