JANAKPURDHAM, May 30: The Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City has announced the closure of schools for five days starting today due to extreme heat.
According to a notice issued by the Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City, all schools within the sub-metropolis will be closed starting today, May 30.
Mehi Lal Yadav, the chief administrative officer of the sub-metropolis, said that this decision was made to ensure the well-being of students amid the ongoing heat wave conditions.
Furthermore, the government has issued warnings to the public in the Terai region, advising caution as the heat wave is expected to continue for the next three days.
