Vandalism condemned

ITAHARI, Dec 5: Different organizations have condemned vandalism of vehicles belonging to educational institutes by a group of Maoist students in Sunsari last Tuesday.



Local wings of PABSON, N-PABSON, Nepal Teachers´ Union and Nepal National Teachers´ Organization have condemned the incident. President of PABSON Sunsari Dil Kumar Ban said it was an example of extreme impunity that the police have not arrested anybody involved in the incident yet.



A group led by Hem Sagar Timsina had vandalized three vehicles of Koshi St James Higher Secondary School, one of BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences and another of Delhi Public School.



ANNFSU-R Sunsari President Madan Chudal admitted vandalizing the vehicles and said it was only the beginning of action against the educational institutes that are charging excessive fees.
