Youth held with 100 kg hashish in Parsa

BIRGUNJ, Feb 23: The District Police Office, Parsa has arrested a man with 100 kilograms hashish on Tuesday.

SP Rajbabu Sherstha said that driver Tularam Tamang, 27, of Sindhupalchowk was arrested with the hemp from the jeep, Ba 5 Cha 504.

Acting on a tip off, a police team deployed from Mahuban Police Post arrested Tamang from Bhauratar of the district at around 11 pm on Monday.

He was paraded amidst a press conference at the district police office today.

Police said that Tamang tried to bribe the police who arrested him, adding that they seized the amount and also impounded the vehicle.
