According to General Secretary of the party, Ishwor Pokhrel, the meeting was postponed after all CC members could not be present in the meeting due to today´s bandh.[break]
The meeting has been planned for February 2 or 3.
Pokhrel further said the meeting was called to make preparations for the meeting of the National Representatives Council of the Party which is going to be organized from March 4.
The meeting was also scheduled to give final shape to the political report of party Chairman Jhalanath Khanal, which is to be presented in the Council meeting.
Similarly, the meeting of the Constitutional Committee scheduled for Wednesday afternoon to resolve the dispute seen in writing the constitution has also been postponed for until Friday.
The meeting was stalled as participants will not be able to attend for lack of transport services, said President of the Committee, Nilambar Acharya.
The meeting was to resolve the dispute on form of governance. Works are not moving ahead lately because of the protest by the Mohan Baidya faction CA members of the UCPN (Maoist) on issues already agreed by the Dispute Resolution Subcommittee.
