KATHMANDU, Jan 16: Acting President of Nepali Congress (NC), Purna Bahadur Khadka, is set to hold a press conference today ( Friday).

The conference is scheduled for 2 PM at the party’s central office in Sanepa, Lalitpur, and will see the presence of senior party leaders, the NC central office confirmed.
The press briefing comes after the faction led by Gagan Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma elected a new Central Working Committee through a Special General Convention. Meanwhile, the NC has removed the names of the two general secretaries from its official website, signaling ongoing internal party tensions.
