Along with him, the names of another general secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma and joint general secretary Farmullah Mansur have also been removed from the website.

Sharma was unanimously selected as vice-president and Mansur as joint general secretary during the second Special General Convention held at Bhrikutimandap.

Earlier, a meeting of the Nepali Congress Central Working Committee held on Wednesday had decided to expel Thapa, Sharma and Mansur from the party for five years, stripping them of even ordinary membership.
