KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa, facing disciplinary action from the Deuba faction, asserted that the NC is not anyone’s private company.

“We have heard that disciplinary action has been taken against us,” Thapa said. “This party does not belong to anyone. I joined NC while I was in the 9th grade, participated in the 1990 movement, and even led the movement in 2006. No one can remove me simply by saying so.”
