Two minors killed in road mishaps in Dhading

DHADING, Sept 26: Two minors have been killed in road accidents near Belkhukhola bridge in Baireni-7, Dhading on Wednesday morning.



Mandira Magar, 7, of Risku, Udaypur died on the spot after being hit by a tripper, informed the area police office, Gajuri. [break]



Magar had been currently working as child worker in Belkhu.



Meanwhile, two other children who were rushing to the incident site learning of the mishap were knocked down by an Agni Yatayat bus near the Belkhukhola bridge, some 200 meters down the road from the accident scene.



Rabin Baral, 11, of Baireni-7 succumbed to his injuries while being treated at a Gajuri based hospital, while the other child Rajan Lama, who was critically injured, has been taken to Kathmandu for treatment, police said.



A bus (Na 3 Kha 7736) en-route to Gaighat from Kathmandu hit the children near the Belkhukhola Bridge.



Both the drivers along with the bus and the tripper have been detained. The locals have obstructed vehicular movement on the highway following the incident in Belkhu.
