More than 150 transport entrepreneurs have picketed the Babarmahal-based NOC office, shouting slogans for the easy supply of petroleum products. [break]
The protest program that started at 9 am will continue till 11 am, said Nepal Transport Entrepreneurs´ National Federation (NTENF) general secretary Dolnath Khanal.
The cash-strapped NOC failed to supply adequate quantity of petroleum products in the country in the past few days, resulting
in long queues of vehicles in front of petrol pumps and forcing more than half of the diesel-run vehicles to remain idle in the parking lot.
