Three women buried in Bajhang

Bhimduttanagar, March 11: Three women died Friday after they were buried by a mound of earth at Khiratadi VDC -1 of Bajhang. The deceased have been identified as Kantamati Karki, 40, of Khiratadi-2, and Bishnadevi Panta, 28, and Pashupati Karki, 22 of Khiratadi-8.

They got engulfed by a mound of clay as they were collecting red clay used to plaster and decorate houses. They died on the spot, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Laxmi Raj Adhikari. The bodies have been handed over to the families. The incident site lies a daylong walk from the district headquarters Chainpur. RSS
