This measure is aimed at ensuring that the processions are conducted in a dignified, peaceful, disciplined, and orderly manner.

According to Chief District Officer Shravan Kumar Pokharel, the transportation, sale, distribution, and consumption of alcoholic beverages will be prohibited from 8 AM to 12 PM on the designated day. Any activity in violation of this order will be subject to legal action. Furthermore, the administration office has established a specific time frame for the immersion of the Durga idol.
The local administration has kindly urged participants in the Goddess Durga idol immersion processions to conduct themselves in a dignified, disciplined, calm, and courteous manner and complete the immersion by 5 PM. It is customary in Banke to immerse the idols of Goddess Durga in sacred water bodies, rivers, and ghats at various locations in the district on the day following Bada Dashain.
