Gold price plunge by Rs 7,500 after nearing Rs 200,000

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of gold dropped by Rs 7,500 per tola on Wednesday. On Tuesday, gold had reached an all-time high of Rs 197,900 per tola.

KATHMANDU, April 23: There has been a sharp decline in the price of gold, which has reached close to Rs 200,000 per tola.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of gold dropped by Rs 7,500 per tola on Wednesday. On Tuesday, gold had reached an all-time high of Rs 197,900 per tola.

Currently, fine gold is being traded at Rs 190,400 per tola today.


Meanwhile, the price of silver has also seen a drop of Rs 5, with the current rate being Rs 1,965 per tola.
