The missing teenager boy has been identified as Roshan Gurung, 17, of Kerabari, Kabilas VDC of the district.[break]
However, Gurung´s two other friends, Sandip Gurung, 20, and Ishwar Gurung, 16, were survived after swimming across the river.
Though all the three youths have tried to catch the boat at around 6 pm on Monday as they saw it flowing in the river, but Gurung was swept away by the river even before touching it, according to Arun Poudel, DSP at the District Police Office.
