KATHMANDU, June 15: Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) on Monday received Rs 27,500 as support for the family of deceased sports journalist Suman Bhomjan who lost his life in the earthquake.
NSJF also received additional 17,500 for its welfare fund to supports other sports journalists affected by the earthquake. Comedian and singer Gurung Soaltee handed over Rs 10,000 to NSJF Vice President Devendra Subedi.

Former volleyball player Milan Shrestha who is in Saudi Arabia for abroad employment had collected the amount.
Likewise, Sanju Purja Magar and others living in Australia donated Rs 17,500 for Bhomjan's family and equal amount for earthquake affected journalists. Sudarshan Ranjit, photojournalist of Pokhara, handed over the amount to NSJF. The NSJF has so far collected Rs 616,012 to support Bhomjan's family.
