"National and international firms, companies and traders who want to showcase their products in the trade fair can now book space," FNCCI said, issuing a statement on Tuesday.[break]
The four-day event will have a total of 350 stalls and FNCCI is working on to attract participants from countries like Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, China, South Korea and USA, and European countries.
"Around 1,500 foreign and 3,000 domestic traders will participate in the fair. We are expecting total footfall of 200,000," the statement said.
FNCCI has calculated that the cost of organizing the event will stand at around Rs 12 million.
The first edition of the fair organized last year had 270 local and 65 foreign stalls. Traders and firms from countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, South Korea and India had participated in the event.
