Shekhar Koirala takes lead with 701 votes under open category

KATHMANDU, March 12: Of the total 1053 votes counted till Saturday night under the open category, Dr. Shekhar Koirala has taken lead in the race for 25 Central Working Committee (CWC) members of Nepali Congress (NC). Koirala has secured 701 votes followed by Prakash Man Singh with 698.

Likewise, Khum Bahadur Khadka is in the third position with 688 votes. Pradip Paudel (670), Purna Bahadur Khadka (660) and Bimalendra Nidhi (655) are in the fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively.
