KATHMANDU, Dec 18: Suhang Nembang has been elected to the CPN-UML Central Committee, securing 1,701 votes in the ongoing party convention.

Making his debut in the party’s central leadership, Suhang emerged as one of the most popular candidates, garnering widespread support from party general convention representatives.


The son of respected and influential UML leader Subas Nembang, Suhang has quickly established himself as an impactful politician. After his father’s demise, he entered politics and has steadily built his reputation. He is also serving as the Member of Parliament representing Ilam-2, actively engaging in national politics.
