KATHMANDU, Dec 16: As the CPN-UML heads into panel-based competition for its leadership election, Raghuji Pant and Suhang Nembang have been included in the team led by party chair KP Sharma Oli.

Pant had earlier been reported to be contesting for a vice-chair position from the Ishwar Pokhrel camp, while Nembang had claimed to compete independently for open central committee member. But both their names appeared on the Oli panel list circulated among delegates on Tuesday.
Voting to elect the party’s new leadership is scheduled to take place on Tuesday noon.
