KATHMANDU, March 16: During a House of Representatives meeting, Rastriya Prajatantra Party MP Gyanendra Shahi raised an objection to CPN-UML MP Raghuji Pant.
On Sunday Pant spoke about the monarchy, discussing the historical mistakes made by kings and the suffering they caused to others. This led to a heated argument when Shahi objected to Pant's remarks.

When Shahi raised his objection, Speaker Devrak Ghimire did not allow him to speak, explaining that he had not been given the floor. Despite this, Shahi continued to protest. In response, Speaker Ghimire said, "I haven't given you the floor, please allow the honorable member who has been given the floor to speak."
Meanwhile, MP Pant challenged Shahi to read history before debating him. He said, "If what I said about history is wrong, let's read the history books. Come and debate with me after reading history. It's not about laughing and joking in Jumla. Come after reading history."
