Around 100 media persons and intellectuals from eights countries will be participating in the conference, said SAFMA Nepal chapter general secretary Nirmala Sharma.
This is the first time that the summit is going to be held in two countries in the SAFMA´s history.
A 15-member team of Nepali journalists comprising general secretary Sharma, Kishor Nepal, Yubraj Ghimire, Gunaraj Luintel, Chandra Kishor Jha, Gopal Khanal, Arjun Khadka, Ganesh Basnet, Arati Chautat and Shobha Shrestha is leaving here for Amritsar on coming Saturday morning.
The "South Asian Regional Perspective" is the theme of the conference.
