KATHMANDU, Feb 27: In a bid to promote the concept of reduce, reuse and recycle, Safal Nepal organized its first 'Resale Bazar' at Saughat Chowk on Saturday.

The program was organized to promote the idea of selling used goods for greening up the earth."Many people tend to throw away their stuff, even the ones that can be used again. This only contributes to an increase in the average waste of the person, and the usable products end up in various landfill sites," said a organizer.

The program was attended by students, locals and tourists with great interests.

Safal Nepal is a non-governmental, not for profit organization established in 2015, with a centralized focus on environment, youth and community empowerment.
