The deceased has been identified as Mekhraj Kulung Rai, 41, of Chheskam-4.Rai was going to Amalapcha carrying a load through
Thamserku Trek.[break]
Rai was returned to Khongmading after health problem was seen on him due to altitude sickness at Setipokhari.
Police said he died at Khongmading and the body has been brought to the district headquarters, Salleri, by helicopter for postmortem.
