Triyuga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and various local social organizations had led the campaign to make the district polythene -free zone since November 19.[break]
The organizations decided to ban the production and sale of polythene in the district to make the campaign a success, Chairman of the Triyuga Chamber of Commerce and Industry Gajendra Bhagat said.
He also warned of taking stern action if anybody found overriding the rule by producing and selling the polythene items.
