At a press meet organised by the Press Chautari, Palpa chapter, here this morning, senior leader Nepal complained that the Prime Minister was not holding consultations and discussions in the party’s central committee, politburo and standing committee regarding the functioning of the government.

Nepal said that the UML leaders were expecting the Prime Minister to consult the party leaders for running the government as there were lots of experienced faces in the party. But, such opportunity was not obtained during the four-month-long period of the current government, he complained.
On a separate context, leader Nepal said that there was no relevance of the new force in the country and added that Dr Baburam Bhattarai was making merely the big talks from the outside.
Leader Nepal also commented Dr Bhattarai for doing nothing while leading the government.
Likewise, leader Nepal said that agitation in the Tarai-Madhes was not of the common people but of some landlords in the region. He was of the argument that the existing seven provinces in the federal set up should not be changed as they were made by considering the sentiments of the people of the provinces concerned, he opined.
