PM Oli and Chinese leaders meet

KATHMANDU, March 25: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is currently on an official visit to the People's Republic of China, and Shaanxi Provincial and Xi'an Municipal leaders held a meeting on Friday.

PM Oli's press advisor Pramod Dahal told the National news Agency (RSS) that during the meeting held at Hotel Shangri-La of Shaanxi Province, they discussed on various issues including matters of mutual relations and interest between the two countries and post-earthquake reconstruction work in Nepal.


On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli invited Xi'an Municipal leaders to the International Buddhist Conference scheduled to be held in Nepal later this year.

The Chinese leaders, during the meeting, briefed PM Oli about the support provided by Shaanxi province to Nepal after the April 25 earthquake.

Also today, Prime Minister Oli visited the historic Terracotta warriors Museum at Xi'an. PM Oli is scheduled to address a business community meeting at Xi'an and visit Xi'an Medical University today itself. RSS
