Receiving the annual report of the fiscal year 2067/068 B.S. prepared by the Trust on Thursday at Singha Durbar, the Prime Minister directed the officials to find further properties of the former royal family, adding that the properties stashed in any part of world by the former royal family, belongs to the State.
Secretary of the Trust Shreedhar Gautam said the PM directed to preserve the properties because that could be cultural and historical heritage for future generation.
The Prime Minister opined to provide employment to the unemployed youths by utilizing the properties of Nepal Trust for income generation.
The PM also directed the officials of the Trust to find the cash deposited in national and the foreign banks and physical properties of the formal royal family members.
Secretary Gautam said that he urged the PM to take initiative to make the Act of Nepal Trust fit to the time need and relevant.
