Patients of cold diseases up in Mahottari

Gaushala, Dec 19: The number of people suffering from cold-related diseases has soared up in Mohattari district with the temperature plummeting for the past few days.

Many people have been affected by common cold, cough, fever, pneumonia and cold diarrhoea, said the District Health Office, Mahottari. Almost every house in the district has two or three patients of cold related diseases.


The District Health Office Jaleshwor registers an arrival of around 150- 200 patients daily. Likewise, 40-60 patients in average visit other health institutes in the district seeking treatment for cold-related diseases, district-based health professionals said. Elders, children and college students have been mostly affected. RSS
