Many people have been affected by common cold, cough, fever, pneumonia and cold diarrhoea, said the District Health Office, Mahottari. Almost every house in the district has two or three patients of cold related diseases.
The District Health Office Jaleshwor registers an arrival of around 150- 200 patients daily. Likewise, 40-60 patients in average visit other health institutes in the district seeking treatment for cold-related diseases, district-based health professionals said.
