Police arrested Yadav from court while he was brought to give statement against the inmate Giri who is lodged at Jhumka Prison on the charge of murdering Karan Yadav. He was also accused of being involved in the attack on Giri at the court premises on June 1, 2011.
“We arrested him while coming out of the court after giving statement,” said Shiva Shrestha, an officer involved in the investigation, adding, “We have already started questioning him.”
Other four people involved in the abduction of Bhaskar are absconding.
