Bhrikutimandap election schedule revised: Voting to begin from 8 PM

KATHMANDU, Jan 14: The election schedule for the Nepali Congress (NC) Special General Convention at Bhrikutimandap has been revised.

Under the revised timetable, the candidate list will be published at 4:00 PM. Objections to candidacy can be submitted until 4:30 PM, with scrutiny completed by 5:00 PM. The final candidate list is set to be published at 5:05 PM.

Candidacy withdrawals are allowed until 5:35 PM and voting will take place from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Meanwhile, both factions have maintained indirect communication to preserve party unity, while the establishment faction has convened a central committee meeting at the party headquarters in Sanepa.
