Police have indentified the deceased as Bimal Bhandari, 25, from Chhatre Deurali of Dhading.[break]
The accident took place as Bhandari was about to get off the bus (Ba 2 Kha 857) heading towards Balaju from New Buspark. The accident happened at around 8:00 pm.
Following the accident, the driver is on the run and police are searching for him, Metropolitan Traffic Police Division said.
