DANG, June 15: The padlocking of the Nepal Sanskrit University central office at Beljhundi Dang by Nepal Students' Union continues as of Monday, since it began on May 5.

The union has stated that they padlocked the university office, Central Ayurvedic Vidyapeeth and Deans' Office to exert pressure for the implementation of the agreements signed in the past with university Registrar Jagat Prasad Upadhyaya.

With the strike in the university, academic activities and even examinations were affected.

Though talks were held between the two sides on Sunday it failed to reach to any conclusion. The dialogue is said to resume today as well, the students union said.

The University administration sources however said that they were not in a position to implement all the agreements reach with the students in the past. RSS
