Nepal-India home secretary level talks on Monday

KATHMANDU, Jan 15: Home secretary level talk between Nepal and India is taking place in New Delhi on Monday.



An 11-member delegation led by Home Secretary Sushil SJB Rana is scheduled to hold talks with 23-member Indian delegation led by Union Home Secretary R K Singh in New Delhi.



Nepali delegation comprises officials from Home Ministry, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and senior security officials from Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and National Investigation Department. [break]



Government sources said the two-day talks as always would focus on Nepal-India border management, smuggling of fake currency notes into the Indian side, movement of members of terrorist groups and measures to check smuggling of arms and goods.



Bihar´s ADG (special branch) Amrik Singh Nimbran, DG (SSB) Pranay Sahay apart from police officers from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Pashim Banga and officers of central police organizations are among those participating in the talks.
